Varnish
Take a look at Varnish, understand more on web accelerators and see just what it is that they can do.
Varnish is a data caching platform, which is occasionally called a caching HTTP reverse proxy. It is a web accelerator that can increase the load speed of a website by up to 1000 percent, based on its content. Every time a visitor opens any page on a website that uses Varnish, the platform caches the page and delivers it instead of the web server in case the visitor opens it again. In this way, the web browser request from the visitor is not handled by the server and the web page will load tremendously faster, as Varnish can deliver content many times faster than any web server software. The end result is a much faster loading site, which leads to an enormously improved visitor experience. If any of the cached web pages is updated on the actual site, the information that Varnish caches in its memory is ‘refreshed’ too, so the site visitors will not see out-of-date information.

Varnish in Cloud Website Hosting
In case you host your sites in a
cloud website hosting account with our company, you’ll be able to add Varnish with a couple of clicks of the mouse through your hosting Control Panel. The content caching platform is available as an optional upgrade with all our shared web hosting plans and you can select how many websites will use it and the total storage space that will be available for the cached content. The two upgradeable features in the Upgrades section of the Control Panel are the number of instances and the amount of system memory and they aren’t directly tied to each other, so you can decide if you need plenty of memory for one single large-sized site or less memory for several smaller ones. You can unleash the full potential of Varnish if the websites use a dedicated IP address. With the hosting Control Panel, you can swiftly start/reboot/remove an instance, clear the cached data independently for each website which employs Varnish or view an elaborate log.

Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
The Varnish caching platform is part of the default service set that you will obtain when you choose to host your sites under a
semi-dedicated server account. You can enable it for any of your websites through our next-generation Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The default amount of memory that Varnish can use to cache data is 64 MB, but if you decide that you need more, you can upgrade this amount from the Control Panel’s Upgrades section. You can also upgrade the Varnish instances, i.e. the number of the websites that can use this platform simultaneously. As these two things are not bound to each other, you can use several sites with the default amount of memory or you can order more memory in increments of 32 megabytes and use all of it for one single site. The Varnish platform works best if you use a dedicated IP for the sites that utilize its power. The Hepsia Control Panel will offer you an easy way of restarting any instance. What’s more, you will be able to delete the cached contents with only one single mouse click.

Varnish in VPS Servers
The Varnish platform is included by default with each of the
Linux VPS hosting plans offered by our company given that the virtual server is ordered with the Hepsia Control Panel, so you can boost the work of your websites with only a couple of mouse clicks. The more powerful the package, the more memory will be available to Varnish, but even with a low-end plan, the platform will be able to utilize several hundred megabytes, so even if you’ve got several different sites, you’ll notice a substantial reduction in the server load and a significantly better webpage loading speed. The Varnish caching platform will have to work for a little while while the users browse the web pages and once the content has been cached, you’ll observe the effects. One of the upsides of employing Varnish is that a less powerful and less expensive VPS plan will do the exact same job as a more costly one without the platform, so not only will your websites perform considerably better, but you’ll also save some cash.

Varnish in Dedicated Servers
You can employ Varnish in order to increase the loading speed of any site that is hosted on a
dedicated server with our company if the Hepsia Control Panel is installed on the machine. Not only will you get the caching platform ready for use at no additional fee, but you’ll also have full control over it through Hepsia’s simple-to-use graphical interface. It’ll take only one single click of the mouse to start or stop an instance or to clear the cached files for any Internet site that’s using Varnish and in case you are more proficient, you can also browse the platform’s system logs. Varnish comes with at least 3 GB of system memory for content caching purposes, so even in case you host a lot of sites on your machine and they all use the caching platform, the improvement in their performance will be obvious. You will simply have to wait for a while until Varnish caches whatever pages the visitors open on their end. The Varnish platform works best if the websites use a dedicated IP, but since our servers come with three charge-free IP addresses, you’ll have everything you need.
